Can you guess the state where most Millennials live at home with their parents? If you guessed New Jersey, you would be right. According to research by 24/7 Wall Street, 45.8 percent of 18- to 34-year-olds in the Garden State are living with a parent. In their defense, the cost of living in New Jersey 13.2 percent higher than the national average. Connecticut is next with 41.5 percent of Millennials living at home. Cost of living in Connecticut is 8.7 percent higher than the national average. Third is New York with 40.4 percent of young adults living with their parents. The cost of living in New York is a whopping 15.6 percent higher than the rest of the country.
