Superstar mamas unite!

While backstage at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival, Kelly Clarkson shared her love and appreciation for her friend and fellow musician Carrie Underwood.

"Carrie's killing it, and she's pregnant! What?!" Kelly told Entertainment Tonight while Carrie, who is pregnant with her second child, performed at the festival. "I hated singing pregnant."

The "Love So Soft" singer also spoke about Carrie's pregnancy journey, saying, "I'm so happy for her! I didn't know a lot of the situations that were happening behind the scenes." As previously reported, Carrie recently opened up about suffering from three miscarriages in the last two years. "I have a lot of friends who have gone through that several times as well," Kelly shared. "It's a really cool thing [she did]. I was emailing her because I was like, 'It's so important that you talk about it. I know you don't have to because it's a hard thing to do, but it makes women who feel inferior or feel like something's wrong with them, it makes them feel comfortable, and [know] that people go through it."

Both American Idol alums took the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival stage over the weekend.

During Carrie's set — which included a performance of new music off her new album Cry Pretty, as well as some fan favorites like "Church Bells," and "Before He Cheats" — she let the crowd know that her baby was really liking everyone in the T-Moble arena. "My baby was kicking during that one," she said after performing "Last Name". "My baby likes you guys."

For Kelly's performance, she gave fans a little dose of southern hospitality as she performed "Whole Lotta Woman," off of her latest studio album, Meaning of Life. and also gave a beautiful tribute to the late Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
